Privacy policy

German Painter is designed to work without an account, advertising profile or analytics service. Fanousoft does not collect personal data through the app or browser course.

Information the app uses

Lesson progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. German Painter does not send them to Fanousoft. The app does not request your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.

Purchases

If you choose the one-time full-course purchase, Apple processes the transaction. German Painter receives only the information needed from StoreKit to determine whether the purchase is valid and currently entitled. Fanousoft does not receive your card or bank details.

Audio

Pronunciation uses an available German system voice. Instrumental music is bundled with the course. German Painter does not record your voice or upload audio.

Website storage

The Painted German browser course saves learning progress in your browser's local storage. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Clearing browser data may remove that local progress.

Tracking, advertising and sharing

German Painter does not track you across apps or websites, show ads, sell personal information or share personal information with data brokers.

Children

The course does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Because no account or server-side profile is created, Fanousoft cannot identify individual learners.

Changes and contact

If the app's data practices change, this page and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the change is released. Privacy questions can be sent to Fanousoft support. Please do not include passwords or payment details.
