German Painter teaches 500 German words through visual memory cues, three sentence levels, pronunciation, quizzes and instrumental listening.

Email Fanousoft support. Include your device model, iOS version and a short description of what happened. Please do not send passwords or payment details.

Pronunciation or music is silent

Check the device volume and make sure audio is not routed to a disconnected headset or speaker.
German pronunciation requires an available German system voice. Voice availability is managed in iOS.
Music starts only after you choose to play it. If another app controls audio, pause that app and try again.

Progress or access

Lesson progress is stored on the device. Removing the app may remove that local progress.
In the iOS app, the first 20 lessons are available without purchase. The full course is a one-time in-app purchase where offered. The browser course is currently free.
If you already purchased the full course, open course information and choose Restore Purchases. Apple verifies the purchase; you will not be charged again for restoring it.

Artwork and learning levels

The paintings are memory associations and may be shared by related vocabulary. Easy, Intermediate and Challenge are relative practice levels, not certified CEFR assessments.
